History
3.3 million years ago, the first tools were created; these included knives, hammers, anvils to sharpen rocks, and many more.
This time period was known as the stone age where you can find the oldest tools of humanity.

Stone Age
The stone age included the Paleolithic Period, Mesolithic Period, and Neolithic Period.
Throughout the Paleolithic period humans were hunter gatherers which meant that they had to collect, hunt, and scavenge for food. Thus, leading to the invention of the tools that use the resources of flint, stone, bone, and antler.
At the end of the Paleolithic period, human culture became more diverse with the tools. Many new important inventions were created that would set the path for the future.

Stone Tools
Stone tools were used as axes, knives, and blunt weapons. (basically, a hammer/club)
From old technology we can learn how humans lived back then and what they ate.

An Upgrade
More inventions were the needle and thread, animal skin (also called hide), clothing, bone tools, the harpoon, the spear thrower, and special fishing equipment (fishing hooks). Later, the innovation of bows, arrows, paddles, and dugout canoes were created.
